I was born on 11/09/1986 at 18h45, in France in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. I grew up in a small town : Barcelonnette. Surrounded, loved by three women, my grandmother, my older sister and my mother. I learned and evolved in nature, wide open spaces, forests, ski slopes, rivers, and mountain peaks. I impregnated myself in these elements that enhanced my spirit.

Collège André Honnorat’s bell in Barcelonnette is calling, and remains one of the most crucial chapter of my life.

My eyesight is getting crazy! First and second stop in surgery! My eyes which used to see this world so badly, saw clearly at the end of this chapter. As a reward with lens instead of eyes and a camera in my hands.

Carpentry and Cooking diploma in my pocket, I search and seek, but couldn’t find what I am looking for. A backpack off I go into the parisian jungle.I left my great open spaces to find my place on film sets. The magic and sensitivity of cinema quickly taught me how to playwith colours and images to breathe and feel my planet vibrate more strongly.

« Photography was there »

This feeling of being able to experience the world more strongly or more gently, perceive it more gorgeously. This took me at the age of 20, in the heart of the city that never sleeps, New York. Back in Paris, I did my first photographic series on «NYC». My « Leica M3 » film camera and my first digital camera never left me anymore.

On building film sets, during film sets, in life, with humans, on everything that makes us feel alive!! Then came my desire to share and discover.

Discover the world, share all this sensitivity and emotion throughout artistic work… Europe, South America, United States… Travelling to make people travel, that’s my aim…

From that small town in the Alps, through the Indian lands of Arizona, to continue and grow in other places and times…

This story can be told alone or with others.

My name is Aloïs Bruno…
